G-Unit crew member Yayo accused of slapping a 14-year-old boy
This article is more than 16 years old50 Cent alleged to have been on hand as the son of his rival was attacked. Meanwhile, Eminem has changed his tune and decided that bad-talking people is not cool - at least when he is on the receiving endTony Yayo, one of the rappers from 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, has been accused of slapping a 14-year-old boy in the face. The rapper is alleged to have assaulted the son of Czar Entertainment boss Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, appropriately called Lil Henchman, in the street.
According to hip-hop site SOHH, 50, who had previously tried to sue Czar Entertainment for using footage of him without his permission, initiated the action after spotting Lil Henchman in the street outside the offices of G Unit's management.
50 is alleged to have signalled to his entourage to approach the boy. After harassing and questioning him for several minutes, Yayo allegedly pushed the boy against the wall and asked him how old he was. On hearing that he was only 14 years old, Yayo is said to have slapped him and said, "I don't give a f--- how old this kid is, f--- Czar Entertainment". Yayo denies all allegations, which is hardly surprising because, frankly, no one thinks slapping kids is big or clever.
Eminem will today ask a judge to ban ex-wife Kim Mathers from insulting him in public. The legal motion seeks to stop Mathers from making "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments" about the rapper because he wants to protect daughter Hailie from hearing negative comments. It is thought unlikely that Eminem will ask that his song Kim, in which he imagines, in explicit detail, how he would like to mentally torture and kill Hailie's mother, will be included in the hearing.
In some non hip-hop related news, Mark E Smith has teamed up with Andi Toma and Jan St Werner of German techno band Mouse on Mars to form a new group called Von Südenfed. The result of the trio's collaboration is said to be a mixture of electro, dubstep and disco, and, according to the press release, "It's not a band: it's a free-flowing collectivist dance generator - a futurist sound system." So there you go. Their debut album Tromatic Reflexxions is out May 21st on Domino.
