Blake Shelton isn't putting any stock into what critics of his new song think. In an interview with CMT, the 44-year-old singer responded to people who took offense to his new track, "Minimum Wage." His critics claim the track shows Shelton, a millionaire, romanticizing money troubles amid the coronavirus  pandemic that's drastically raised unemployment and closed businesses. "A mega millionaire romanticizing minimum wage is peak 2020," one person wrote on Twitter. "Blake Shelton can go f**k himself.
The audience then let out a collective "aw," to which Smulders responded to the attention, "See! I love it!" Duplass jokingly added, "By the way it looks horrible up close. You can smell it. The whole thing's terrible!" "I'm really sorry," the mother of two laughed. "It's so dumb. It really is," she added. "I wish I had a better story." A man is facing the death penalty after being convicted for his involvement in a Miami murder spree perpetrated by a street gang known as the Terrorist Boyz in 2002. Frantyz Jean-Marie, 35, was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder as well as conspiracy and racketeering on Friday.  The conviction came after nearly seven weeks of trial testimony and more than a decade of legal proceedings in what's been the most expensive death-penalty case for taxpayers in recorded history.

The Justice Department says it will seek the death penalty for the white gunman who killed 10 African Americans in 2022 at grocery store in Buffalo, N.Y., in a racially motivated massacre. In a new court filing submitted Friday, federal prosecutors say that the circumstances of the crimes "are such that, in the event of a conviction, a sentence of death is justified." This marks the first time that the Justice Department under the Biden administration has sought the death penalty in a new case.
