FilmReviewGerhard Liebmann is brilliant as Eismayer, an Austrian drill officer who falls for a recruit in this intelligent, understated film about acceptance The character of Sgt Maj Eismayer is instantly recognisable from every basic training movie you’ve ever seen. He is the tough drill officer who humiliates and bullies new recruits, bellowing at them to hit the floor and give him 25 press-ups. But it turns out that this Austrian drama directed by David Wagner (himself an army veteran) is inspired by true events.
Updated I tried beef hot dogs from Nathan's, Sabrett, Applegate, and Ball Park. Ball Park had the thickest frank, but I thought Applegate's organic hot dogs packed the most flavor. I didn't think Sabrett's less-than-flavorful hot dogs warranted their higher price tag. Ahead of Memorial Day weekend, I decided to try four different kinds of hot dogs to see which one I would choose for my own cookout. The brands of hot dogs I tested.
Domestic violence involving "emotional blackmail" could soon be made illegal if a new piece of legislation is passed by parliament. The bill already has support from multiple parties and would make the crime punishable by up to 14 years in prison. While it's obviously impossible to pinpoint an exact definition of what constitutes emotional blackmail, the bill defines that a man or woman who carries out "a campaign of coercion or intimidation on their partner"

It’s time to reappraise the Mancunian legends … by Alexis Petridis30. Lord Don’t Slow Me Down (2007)A stand-alone single that was reportedly removed from Don’t Believe the Truth to cut down on the number of Noel Gallagher-sung tracks, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down offered fruitful, grimy repurposing of the old guitar lick from the Yardbirds’ version of Bo Diddley’s I’m a Man – by way of David Bowie’s The Jean Genie and the Sweet’s Blockbuster.
Fans of the character have often "shipped" him with Carol (Melissa McBride), whom he struck up a friendship with in season one, and then Beth (Emily Kinney), who got closer to the guarded Daryl in season four. (However, spoiler alert: that ship hit rock bottom in the midseason finale.)  Reedus sounded off on the speculation surrounding his fan-favorite character's sexuality in an interview with GQ, referencing a conversation he had with the series' original showrunner Frank Darabont.
It's full speed ahead for Yvette Monreal this week. The 24-year-old actress, known for roles on The Fosters and MTV's Faking It, makes her big-screen feature debut Friday in Ricardo de Montreuil's Lowriders, playing the studious, college-bound Claudia, a longtime friend of Gabriel Chavarria's street artist Danny, who's torn between wanting to pursue his passion and his family's roots in East L.A.'s macho car culture. "My favorite thing about filming in L.A. is that it's closest to home,"

21 Savage's face kinda says it all -- 2 days after ICE finally released him, he had to pose for this mug shot in his felony theft case. Sooo ... zero reason to smile. As we first reported, the rapper turned himself in to cops last Friday in southern Georgia. He was booked for theft by deception for allegedly skipping out on a 2016 concert. The case came up again after his ICE arrest, because the concert promoter, Karen Smith, decided to go after him for the $17k she says he made off with when he bailed on the show.
