Road closures for the Plymouth Half Marathon
Where closures occur well-signed diversions will be in place to ensure continued access around the city for motorists and public transport.
Road closures will start operating from 7:30am in most areas, with a dynamic re-opening schedule from 09:45am to ensure roads are re-opened as soon as runners have completed that section of the route.
All roads will be re-opened fully by 1.00pm.

A374/Exeter Street- traffic can still flow in both directions
Cattedown - accessed via Cattedown Road, or turning left into Finnigan Road
A38 - accessed by joining Embankment Road from Lanhydrock Road and Old Laira Road (only one lane open) or via Western Mill
Billacombe Road and Elburton Road- outbound carriageway closed, traffic will be managed so it can continue to flow in both directions on the inbound carriageway (expect HGV’s*)
Plymstock- accessed via Springfield Road
HGV’s will be diverted via Plymstock at Springfield Road towards the city centre
